Ammonia Taste In Back Of Throat, Lower Back Pain. Why Am I Experiencing This?

I have an ammonia taste in the back of my throat, as well as lower back pain . I have been sick with cold symptoms for the past 3 weeks with a very bad sore throat . I also had a mild fever for one of those two weeks. I also feel like I may have a UTI as well. What do you think this could be? I do have an appointment scheduled w/my PCP next week.

thanks for the query.
it would have been better if you have mentioned your age.
y do u feel that u might have UTI
are you using any mediactions??
the taste can be due to the medicines that u have used for fever and sorethroat.
is your face swollen or something like puffiness?

have blood and urine tests done to rule out uti, renal failure.
i think this could be just an infection.
