Am I Pregnant With Nose Bleeds After Unprotected Sex?
Hi I got off an oral contraception pill and then had sex with my boyfriend and bought the morning after pill too late I bought it on the fourth day and then I started on the pill again and now I have started getting random nose bleeds and it has been a week since that incident am I pregnant?
Until a month has gone by since you had your last real period there is no way to know if you have conceived from this encounter. Your nosebleeds are unlikely related to this situation and are not a symptom of pregnancy.
The morning after pill works best if you take it within 3 days of unprotected intercourse but it still can work for up to a week.
So the greatest possibility is that you are not pregnant but I advise that if you do not get a period at the end of your pill pack that you do a pregnancy test, and consider seeing your regular family doctor if your nosebleeds continue.
I hope this answered your question and that my information was helpful.
Best wishes, Dr. Brown
