Hello, and i hope i can help you today.

If you missed your Depo shot, there is a possibility that you could become from unprotected sex.

So, I suggest you do a urine pregnancy test and if it is positive, you should see a provider for pregnancy care.

If it is negative, many women have irregular menstrual cycles when they stop using Depo Provera for even up to 6 months. However, this does not mean that you cannot conceive, so i suggest you seek an alternate birth control method if you do not desire pregnancy.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that this information was helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
