Am I Having Pain For Carpal Tunnel?

I was told that I have carpal tunnel (without being fully tested) and a pinched nerve/ muscle spasms. I am experiencing pain in my shoulder,arm, neck, and back also tingling in my pinky and ring fingers. I am in a lot of pain and have been for about 2 -3 weeks, should I go to the emergency room?

After going through your description, in the Carpal tunnel syndrome there is nerve (Median) compression at wrist. This leads to numbness and tingling sensation in thumb, index finger and difficulty in doing fine work. May be confirmed by nerve study (EMG/NCV).
The definitive treatment is small surgical procedure in which the tissue causing nerve compression is released. Meanwhile you can give her tricyclic antidepressant like pregablin after having a word with your local doctor.
