Your symptoms, are more relevant for decreased blood sugar- hypoglycaemia (not hyperglycaemia-diabetes).

Get yourself, blood sugar checked and get diagnosed.

I developed a case of hives/ welts on my body starting behind my right knee and one on each butt cheek. the next morning i awoke with two hives on my right inner hip. All these hives spread into larger welts as the day progressed and one developed on my left hip becoming very large. The welts were very itchy until I took some benedry. My sister has celiac disease and she said she discovered it with the onset of the same exact symptom. I'm thinking that could be my issue. I however, took a couple of urinary tract pills to relieve the symptoms of a UTI the day before, although this medication never gave me a rash before. I also took a 500mg cipro for the bladder infection, which never gave me symptoms before either. Before my rash was first noticed I had pasta for dinner, and a bagel earlier in the day for breakfast. I have been consuming lots of wheat, and maybe that is the reason for a sudden reaction. I have a history of yeast infections, my gyno told me I have a shortage of good bacteria- lactobacilis. I try to take probiotics as often as possible to help with this, but I don't know what kind of lactobacilis i shoudl be taking. I read up on candida, and think many of those symptoms relate to many issues I have, but maybe it's really a glucose intolerance. I also have many symptoms of ADD, and possibly that relates as well. Also, my grandmother was diabetic.

Need not be diabetes only. Check your hemoglobin levels as well along with blood sugars. This would indicate your current health status. Get a physical examination done by General Physician to guide you better.

My legs and feet will randomly turn bright red and tingle and itch. Is this a sign of diabetes? I have almost all the symptoms. Non stop thirst, always sleepy, urinating all the time, hungry a lot even though I just ate, and like I said itchy red legs and feet. I ve been tested one but it said I didn t have it. Should I get tested again? Please get back to me.

Hello, I am a 24 yr old female and roughly 173 pounds. My Psychiatrist recently switched me from Ritalin to Focalin. I am on the generic form of Focalin. Four days ago, I experienced a near fainting spell. My hearing became muffled and I started having hot/cold sweats. I had to immediately sit down and sip on Gatorade. I ended up vomiting 3 times after my near fainting spell. Two nights ago, I had a similar re-occurance. I ended up profusely vomiting more than the previous spell. I have currently been on the Focalin for a week and am experiencing these random spells and at times a sour stomach. What should I do?

When i was 17 i started having fainting spells...they would come on real quick with dizziness, nausea, and feeling like someone turned the thermostat up in my body! I was diagnosed then with what they called Near Syncope and was told it would go away with age. Sure enough after the age of 19 it disapeared almost as quickly as it started. Now at the age of 26 its like it s back with a vengence only worse. I say worse because i don t pass out. Passing out made it better because i didn t remember the almost agonizing dizziness and i was almost fine after waking except for being very fatigued. Now...if i don t eat almost immediately when i think i should or feel just the tiniest bit of hunger...i get this rush of feeling hot, dizzy, very weak, and trouble focusing. Normall eating would make this go away...but lately food has not come to my rescue. Unfortunately this has been happening every day for the last week and i m becoming very bothered by it and almost afraid to even get up in the morning. Help!

I am a 24 year old male. I have PVC s and PAC s. I am extremely active and in great physical condition, I spend 1.5 hours, 5 days a week working out. I am 225 lbs, 8% body fat, and 6ft tall. I take no supplements. Recently I have been having some worrisome palpitations. Usually in the early morning my heart will either beat extremely fast (180-250bpm) for a few seconds accompanied with near syncope and SOB or it will beat erratically. I had an extended episode (30 seconds) of appx 200-250 bpm brought on by a sprinting session about 2 months ago. That is when these strange rhythms began. Normally I feel my PVC s, so I am very aware of my heart beat. My heart feels strange like it is tired latley. What could this be? I am worried about VTach, but as I do not have insurance I am wary of going to the cardiologist. What should I do? Thank You
