Predominantly microcytic hypochromic cells with ovalocytes and elliptocytes please help me..am 29year female unmarried and have fissure and vitamin D defiency..i got scared and dint undergo fissure surgery as doctor suggested..from past eight years ...due to fissure will get anal cancer??and with out surgery can tis problem be solved??

Hi thanka for contacting HCM... You are having anisopoikilocytosis in PS finding of blood .... You are also having anal fissure , so bleeding per rectum might be present leads to iron deficiency anemia ..... For anemia iron tablets can be given .... Jaggery , green leafy vegetables like iron rich food taken more .... Anal fissure can lead morbidity more and life style can be impaired .... Although chance of cancer less ... Topical nitroglycerine and topical anesthetic like xylocaine application can be useful ... Stool softener also useful .. Excess spicy food avoided .... If no improvement from medical management than surgical approach has to be considered .... Take care .. Consult surgeon for this ....and get surgical correction of fissures...
