General Surgeon 's  Response
Soreness in the near peripheral area surrounding the incision where the surgical procedure was done to remove the lipoma can be present as reciprocate reaction to the manipulation of the tissues of that area during the surgery. This will subside on its own within some days time. If there is associated itchiness or other symptoms then consult with your physician about this. Regards.
