After How Much Time Is Tetenus Injection Effective?

If a person have some kind of surgery two weeks before (eye squit surgery) and he got little scratches on his body from road because of suddent fall. Then should tetanus injection is required? it has any effect after injection on surgery? Secondly for how much time the tetanus injection is efective . I mean to say if a person injured again after a week is it neccessory to take one injection again?

Tetanus injection is valid for 5 years, and it is taken when a person has an injury from roads but in your case, there is no need to take an injection as they are simple scratches.
