After Cellulitis How To Treat Severe Edema In My Legs?

hello this is my second bout with cellulitis within 8 months im 45 and the cellulitius is gone now i have severe edema in my legs and my Dr. sent me to a lympodema specialist that wrapped my legs today to circulate the water retention i have and on top of it my dr has me on 3 water pills a day this second bout of this started about three weeks ago the first time i had this they hospitalized me ...and now i have been told this is going to be life long is that true? michelle YYYY@YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, this could be a obstruction in venous return apply crab bandage is better option, but this is not for life long of course this could takes weeks to come around till then you have to keep the crab bandage applied avoid standing, keep the leg in elevated position as long as it is possible, drink more water, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
