Advised To Use Depotrust Due To Submucus Myoma. Persisting Bleeding. Need Help

hi... good day! I was a first timer user of depotrust. My doctor advised me to have injection of depotrust because I've been diagnosed for a submucous myoma. My injection was on last March 12, 2013 (that was the first day of my period) but until now my bleeding doesn't stop. I want to know when will it stop, please advise. I planning not to use it anymore.

Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic.
The most common side effect and the most common cause of non compliance and stoppage of the depomedroxy progesterone acetate injectable is abnormal uterine bleeding. This condition may persist for six months or even more, after which you should experience amenorrhea (no menstruation at all).
There are many other alternatives for treating a sub mucous myoma such as using the combined oral contraceptive pills or surgical resection by the hysteroscope, according to what your doctor suggests.
I hope these words were useful to you.
Good luck.
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
