Advised To Take Siphene And Clomipure By Different Doctors. Are The Drugs Same In Composition And Action?

Hi sir,

I am seeking your help to the difference between siphene 5 mg & clomipure 100 mg.

My earlier doctor suggested me to take siphene 5 mg from 5days of my period for days and my recent doctor suggested me to take clomipure on same days. please suggest the purpose of Siphene and Clomipure is EXACTLY SAME or THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE.

Please suggest. Thanks alot in advance, in acticipation of your answer.

Thanks for your query.
Siphene and clomipure ultimately contain the active compound clomiphene citrate.
This is a drug that helps to induce the growth of follicles in the ovary and induces ovulation.
Both the preparations contain the same compound, only Clomipure contains L clomiphene which has been suggested to be superior by recent studies, with fewer side effects, while having the same efficacy.
Siphene cannot be 5 mg. am sure you are mistaken, it must be 50 mg. please check.
