Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic,
Breast feeding is the best for baby as it wont have any problems associated with feeding.
For gas problem, and stool color change, no need to change the formula and frequent change of formula will lead to confusion regarding the tolerance of feeds by infant.
Don't give cow's milk as it is associated with indigestion due to presence of large molecule proteins and cow milk protein allergy.
Don't worry about stool color and frequency , continue NAN 1 as advised.
Gas problem is common in 3 month old and it can be managed by giving neopeptine drops with your doctor prescription.
Passing stool once in a day is also normal.
I advise you to continue Nan 1 and if you have any clarification please let me know.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

I will say breast milk is the answer. Not lactogen or nan or cow's milk. All these have their own problems.

Breast milk will not be produced by the mother if the baby does not suckle at the breast. Breast milk is not produced if the baby is given dummies, pacifiers, prelacteal feeds or if there is any painful condition of the breast.

There is nothing like breast milk is not sufficient. This is because of psychological factors like worry, embarresment, pain, doubt that milk is not sufficient etc etc

Motivation, proper training etc are required for the breast feeding to be successful. Lack of all these will result in breast feeding failure. Non breast fed babies have recurrent attacks of infections, respiratory problems, diarrhea etc.

Breast feeding protects against infections and helps in brain growth.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
