Advise On Semen Analysis Report

my semen analysis report is : vol: 1.8ml ph: 8.0 colour: G.W LIQUEFACATION: COMPLETE VISCOSITY : NORMAL WBC: 2-4 SPERM CONCENTRATION: 38 MILLION/ML SPERM MOTILITY TYPE 1: 10% STRAIGHT FORWARD MOTILE TYPE 2: 25% FAST CIRCULAR MOVING SPERM TYPE 3 : 33% LOCALLY SHAKING SPERM TYPE 4 : 32% LIVE IMMOTILE SPERM SPERM MORPHOLOGY NORMAL OVAL : 9 SLIGHTLY ABNORMAL : 25 ABNORMAL : 66 THANKS YOU FOR HELP

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection.
Infection is indicated by the presence of WBC in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any WBC cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

Other findings like motility,morphology and sperm count are acceptable.
