Advantage Of Using Pervident Vs Regular Toothpaste After Periodontal Scaling And Replanning
Received recent periodontal scaling & replaning. I'm 58 and have had periodontal disease since my twenties. My periodontist gave me a prescription for Prevident 5000 Plus (or generic equivalent). What would be the advantage of using this vs a regular toothpaste?

Dear your dentist has provide you this just after your scaling to avoid little sensitivity in gums. This is a medicated tooth paste which will clean your teeth as well avoid anykind sensitivity that happen many times after scaling. You can use your tooth paste after 2 weeks as that will block the open tubules.
