Hi angela,
Thanks for writing in to Healthcare Magic!
It is a distressing thing that All have all the money to spend on all the pursuits; at times on the most worthless ones but not for the doctors- what a pity! We do the most crucial job on earth- handle the most complex system known till date, still a flat denial like this- please avoid this, this is unjust! Give it a thought Anyway..........
I would try my best to solve your problem.
The acne lesions are formed due to secretions of sebacious glands getting stuffed up and getting infected forming comedones. The problem is mostly moderate not warranting urgent intervention but at times they can lead to pustulo-
cystic acne which may need
steroids to overcome the acute phase.
Some patients get relief with antibiotics like
Azithromycin, Doxycycline etc orally when taken for about two months. These are to be taken in the supervision of a physician.
First you should try a local application of benzoil peroxide gel thrice a day.
Topical
clindamycin application can also be added twice a day.
Another important aspect is to wash the face with lukewarm water and wash it dry with a cotton towel and then to expose in mild sunlight for 5minutes.
If you have any further query please let me know I would try to answer it for you.
Wish you a great health!
