Welcome to

The shortness of breath you have could possibly be due to acid reflex itself. The medication will work only if taken for a course as advised by doctor.
A minimum of 15 day course will be essential to alleviate the symptoms of Gastric reflux.Mean while avoid consuming coffee, tea and spicy foods.
Also keep your head at slightly higher position while sleeping which lessens the reflux and prevents worsening.

Thanks for using this service.

Wish you good health.
