Acid reflux, pain in upper chest and back, disturbed sleep due to mild chest pain. ECG normal. What could it be?

I have some acid reflex, and weird little pains in my upper left chest and back. This has been happening for about 3 days straight now. I went to the doctor yesterday and they gave me an ECG and came back fine. I am worried and last night woke up with a some weird pains in my chest and started to panic which probably didn t help. I am 29 years old and I consider myself healthy. What could it be?

acid reflux disease usually happen when the tone between the esophagus and stomach is weak thus permitting acid from stomach to go back and cause such pain is very common to happen when you lie down especially if you ate within 3 hours before it
having such symptoms if cardiac wise was clear can happen..I would suggest taking prevacid from over the counter if you are not already on it once daily in AM
hope you get better soon

Thanks for your query Shawley.
Considering you a healthy guy of 29, a cardiac cause of pain is unlikely. So you can calm down. You are very much fine. Acid reflux commonly causes chest pain. Take Tab Raciper-D once daily in empty stomach and avoid sleeping just after food. Avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy and oily foods. Check your B.P and take Tab Cloze .5mg at night time for a week.
