My very low back, hips, thighs and down both legs have extreme stabbing/aching pain. I was also very nauseated this morning, but didn t vomit, but had diarrhea (3x to the bathroom). My eyes are also burning. My skin on my chest, arms and hands is burning and sensitive to the touch. And it is burning when I urinate. I just went through a severe sore throat and a course of 5 days of arithromyicin antibiotic, but tested negative for strep three weeks ago. Then that was followed by what I thought was bronchitis and still a sore throat, but those symptoms cleared up about 4 days ago. All those symptoms have subsided, but now experiencing the first symptoms that I spoke of this morning.

I would like to give you a chance, at least. My question stems from my wife s and my recent diagnoses by our family doctors after a couple of weeks of suffering with symptoms from some horrible virus. We both agree with our doctors that we have bronchitis. Just not sure what it was that gave it to us. Original symptoms: a tickle in the upper center chest, fever going up to about 101.5 F after a few hours, debilitating body muscle aches (my wife complained of pain in her ribs, mine started in my right shoulder blade, radiated to my shoulder and arm, then across my back, down my back, into my hips and legs. The sensation for both of us was much like that of the pain associated with shingles (we ve both had it, in 1982) only not nearly that intense; just that same tingling that makes you not want anything touching ny skin surface. My wife started having light symptoms on 4/30, mine started on 5/3. We still both have low-grade fever (99.5) and weakness, and severe cough. My wife also has sinus infection, which she seems to have accompanying any respiratory ailment. Appropriate prescriptions from both doctors, cough syrup plus Z-pak for my wife s sinus infection. We just still feel knocked out by something that really hasn t been explained by bronchitis .

As I was sitting at work I got a fluttering/vibration feeling in the back of my head and felt like I was going to pass out. I also felt like I saw stars. I am alittle shaky, however, I have eaten lunch today and don't have any other medical conditions other then a mixed connective tissue disease. Is this something to be concerned about?

I have Ehler-Danlos (hybermobile) type and now have an extremely high CRP rat 34.4 (I believe anything over 7 is a concern). I've had 4 shoulder replacements. My orthopedic surgeon aspirated some fluid from the joint/prosthesis and has ruled out an infection there. Now my familiy doctor doesn't seem concerned at all with a 34.4 CRP reading but I am! I am 53 years old and have a lot of other symptoms as well, but my main concern right now is that my extremely high CRP may indicate something that should be treated right away - like cancer or lupus. There have been no tests ordered and I feel very confused about how much I should push my doctor to investigate this. By the way, my CRP has been elevated from a shoulder infection prior -- then it was only at 12 -- now at 34.4 that seems very frightening to me. My high sensitivity CRP test put me in the "average" range for heart disease. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Hi there...I am currently being tested for Interstitial Lung disease related to connective tissue in the uterus. I have no breathing problems, but suffer from chest pain and joint ache related to my hormonal cycle. I am 39, 120 pds, in the gym every day! If I do have this, is it treatable? Is it life threatening?
