Hi, i'm Deb & my thyroid level was, .25 then .11 and my PCP kept saying it was normal but on the lab work it said ABNORMAL. I ended up in the hospital due to bad heartburn and bad constipation and my level was down to .09. My PCP had me on 125 mcg synthroid. I contacted a surgeon and told him about the .11 level and the surgeon put me on 125 mcg. In the hospital at .09 level the Hospital Dr put me on 100 mcg synthroid. Today my level is .49 and the Endocrinologist is leaving me on 100 mcg and re-checking tsh in 4-6 weeks. Also my Vitamin D level is 20. I'm on a prescription 0000 twice a week for 15 weeks. Have taken 1 so far. Can the low thyroid and Vitamin D levels cause extreme fatigue and aching? I have not been myself.....

Hi Deb, Thank you for posting a question here, lets hope I can answer it adequately.
Your condition is known as hypothyroidism, in it your thyroid isnt producing enough thyroid hormone. Now in early stages of this disease, usually there arent any symptoms, but as it progresses symptoms do show up like- fatigue (so yes, that does answer your question about fatigue) weight gain hoarseness depression (also a symptom of yours) stiff and painful joints (a symptom of yours) muscle weakness slow heart rate etc
As such the medication your doctor has chosen is the right one because it is a synthetic form of thyroid hormone. So dont worry and stick to the medication, you're doctors know what they are doing.
I hope this answered your question.
