Abnormal Period. Had Sex For The First Time In A Year. Is This The Reason For Irregular Cycle?

I started spotting pinkish blood on Monday only when I wipe. I put a pad on thinking my period is coming. And four days later I only see a small amount of blood when wiping myself. I have regular 28 day cycle periods. I had my tubes ties14 years ago. I had sex on 3/17 for the first time in over a year. Why won't my period come?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your description the possibilities are:
-Hypomenorrhea: scanty flow during periods.
-Hormonal imbalance leading to irregular spotting, premenstrual spotting etc.
-Rarely in case of failed tubectomy there is possibility of pregnancy.
So you wait for one more week, possibly by that time you will get your period.
If not consult gynecologist once and get examined to find out the possible cause and take treatment accordingly.
