Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM).

Elevation of transaminase levels requires investigation
1. Alcohol if you are taking then please avoid it
2.Other common and treatable causes like Hepatitis B and C virus, Serum ceruloplasmin for wilson disease especially if you are young, ANA and SMA for autoimmune disease
3. Lipid profile
4.Ultrasound abdomen to see for liver echotexture, portal vein diameter, and size of spleen

What is stomach infection? Please mention your symptoms and not conclusion or interpretation. However if you mean by upper abdominal discomfort (dyspepsia) then take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
