9 Weeks Pregnant, No Heartbeat, D/c?

am 9weeks pregnant and today i had an ultrasound and the doctor said no heart beat and recomends a d/c, should i have another ultrasound, or wait a few days, pls advise. thank you.

Hi, If your gestational age is confirmed to be 9 weeks by any earlier ultrasound scan & your present ultrasound is from a reliable place then a missed miscarriage is the diagnosis for which D&C is one option, apart from medical & expectant management. But if you don't have any previous ultrasound confirming gestational age or you do not trust the source of current ultrasound scan you may wait for 10-14 days and go for a repeat ultrasound scan. There is no harm in waiting! Best of luck.
