84 Yrs Old, Complaining Of Chest Pains. Dr Says Pulmonary Arteries Not Pumping Blood To The Heart. What Does It Mean ?
My mother is 84 years. She started complaining of chest pains yesterday. She went to the doctor today and they sent her to the hospital. They are saying that her pulmonary arteries I not pumping blood to the heart as I should. They want her to rest and continue to take test. What those this mean.? She had a stroke in 1994
It`s not understood what your mother`s doctor is trying to say because pulmonary arteries do not pump the blood to heart, they send blood to lungs. I`m sure there is some confusion in your understanding. However, a chest pain in a 84 years old should be investigated to rule out any heart, lung or any other pathology.
