8 Years Old Son Suffering From Itchy And Puffy Eye With Flu

my 8 yr old started out 16 hrs ago complaining of an itchy and puffy eye, which soon spread to the other eye as well. Upon feeling her, she felt warm(assumed she was coming down with the flu , because she was coughing a bit during the night). The swelling subsided a bit and she fell asleep for 2 hours. In regards to the puffiness and itch, I assumed it was a bug bite, b/c I noticed a tiny welt with a pin-hole on the bottom outer corner of the initial eye with symptoms. But there was nothing on the other. During the night she had a fever and complained her eye was sore again and a headache . When I glanced at her, I saw 2 large welts, 1 on either side the bridge on her nose and both her eyes were largely swollen. Occasionally she complains of certain areas on her body that are itchy, I ve noticed 3 other small welts on her body which does not seem to stay very long. This morning her eyes are still puffy but not as bad as 7 hrs ago and the welts between her eyes remain but are not as dramatic. Is this something to be concerned about? This is the first time it s happened..... fever, mild cough, runny nose, itchy puffy and painful eyes, welts, etc. Thank you

It seems that she is suffering from some sort of allergic manifestation. You can give her psorinum 1m /1dose and wait for 24 hrs.if it is recovering then you need not do anything ,but inspite of medicine if it increases than consult your nearest physician and seek advice regarding the same.

thanks,
dr jignesh
