Your daughter is most likely suffering from asthma which may have been brought about by a bacterial or viral infection. You should get her basic investigations like routine blood counts and a x ray chest done. If possible get a PFT also done. Give her a course of antibiotics and nebulize her with asthalin and budecort. If situation demands, you may have to give her a short course of oral steroids. Once her acute symptoms are controlled, you may start her on montair 5 mgm and seroflo inhaler 100mcg strength twice a day. Inhalers can be given through a device called spacer.
