8 Months Pregnant, Twins. Ultrasound Done. Suggestions?

I had recent ultrasound I am 8 months postpartum with twins. Baby b and the smaller twin was born footling breech. Had my tubes tied about 5 months ago. Here are the results of the ultrasound.

US PELVIS AND TRANSVAG TOGETHER (US-18) US-18

IMPRESSION:
1. The previously described fibroid in the anterior aspect of the
uterus is not as well demonstrated on today's examination.
2. The endometrial stripe is normal.
3. There is a simple appearing 2.2 cm cyst involving the right ovary
with smaller nondominant follicles.
3. Probable hemorrhagic cyst involving the left ovary measuring 5
mm. The previously noted 2 cm cyst involving the left ovary is not
identified.

INDICATION: mass left lower quadrant/ovary with history of complex
ovary cyst in past. Pelvic pain

TECHNIQUE: Complete transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic
ultrasound with real-time imaging documentation was performed.
Endovaginal sonography was performed for optimal visualization of the
ovaries and/or endometrium.

COMPARISON: 08/25/2011

FINDINGS: The uterus measures 10.6 x 4.7 x 5.4 cm. Endometrial
stripe measures 11.4 mm. A single calcification is noted near the
internal cervical loss measuring 3 mm. The right ovary measures 3.5
x 2.8 x 2.8 cm. The estimated volume is 14.5 mL. There are multiple
nondominant cysts. There is an anechoic rounded structure in the
right ovary measuring 2.2 x 2 x 1.9 cm. Normal vascular flow is
identified. The left ovary measures 2.7 x 2.3 x 2.9 cm with an
estimated volume of 9.4 mL. There is an echogenic flow of disc
within the left ovary measuring 6 x 5 x 4 mm. No free fluid is seen
in the pelvic cul-de-sac.

I would like to know all you can tell me about my scan as far as meanings, cyst types, and chance of malignancy. Also any additional info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Mam, it is for sure that there is no indication of any malignancy, the ovarian cyst are the common disease now a days, I think better way for this is just have close watch on them it goes away some time, rarely needs surgical removal, but right now you need not to worry for any dangerous out come because this will not be there, you can discus this with some good OBG person have nice day.

Psychiatrist Dr. Anjana Rao Kavoor's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

Important observations in your report are:
The earlier noted fibroid is not appreciated.
There is a cyst measuring 22 mm in right ovary.
Probably left ovary shows a hemorrhagic cyst 5 mm in size and earlier cyst is not seen.

These findings are more towards a benign condition and nothing to do with malignancy.

Cysts can be simple, complex, dermoid cyst, hemorrhagic cyst and malignant cysts to name a few.

Your cyst is clearly mentioned as probable hemorrhagic (containing bit of blood) and is always benign. This will resolve in a month.

Hope this helps
