6 Year Old, Itching In Forehead, Lump On Head, Head Hurting. Should I Meet A Doctor?

My 6 year old daughter was alone in her room. She said her forehead itched, near her right temple so she scratched it. And then she found me and said her head hurt. There is a lump on her head about the size of a quarter, slightly red. It looks like she hit her head, but she swears she didn't. I looked around for a spider or something, but there isn't even a bite mark on her head. I am just wondering if I need to take her to the doctor, or if I should just watch her to see if it goes away on its own.

Hi,
From history it suggests that she might have some insect bite giving rise to itching and formed allergic lump.
Give her Benadryl syrup and wait for 1-2 hours.
If there is no improvement or problem increases, go to ER and get examined.
Ok and take care.
