56yr Male Complaining Of Chest Discomfort And Sweating After Exercise

56yr male complaining of chest dicomfort sweating after exercise eating with NL ECG high T.G,what he must do? chest discomfort( tightness dyspnea) discomfort comes especialy after walking post prandial releived by rest. he has +ve family hx for heart disease hyper T.G he is heavy smoker 7drinking alot of cups of coffee per day.he need advice and what investigations he must do. thanks

He needs to cut back on the coffee. The one test he needs is a treadmill stress test. It is possible to have blocked heart arteries and have a normal ECG. The stress test will reveal hidden abnormalities that are only present on exertion. Depending on that result further testing may be needed.
