5 Year With Fever And Eye Sensitive To Light

Hi, my daughter has a fever and her eye is very sensitive to the light. What should I do? I gave her Ibuprofen and her fever is going down slowly. However if the eye sensitivity persists Iwould like to know what to do ?

check if there is some redness in the eyes. conjunctivitis can cause some sort of photophobia (sensitivity to light). if there is, she will need to be seen by an ophthalmologist. otherwise her symptoms should improve as fever comes down. but if you feel there is worsening of sensitivity, she ll need to see ophthalmologist soon.
