5 Year Old Having Blisters In Mouth, Dizziness, Reddish Throat And Fever. Strep Test Negative. Is This Something Serious?

My 5 year old son has been having a fever of 101 all day. He has blisters in his mouth and his throat is red. He complains of being dizzy when he lays down. I took him to the doctor at 12pm today and they tested him for strep and it was negative. Does this sound like anything serious? or do you think he will be ok?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
It is looking like Viral illness with aphthous stomatitis continue the medication as advised by your Pediatrician and try to give plenty of oral fluids and soft diet. Nothing to worry still if you feel problem then visit again your doctor.
