5 Year Old Child, Nose Blockage, Fever. On Amoxicillin. Had Stretocoque. Treatment?

My daugther 5 years old had a stretocoque 3 weeks ago an was treated with amoxicilin , her troat got better after 2 days and stomack pain gone too and no more fever . But she kept the with the nose block ...she still has her nose block and therefore she has some coaugh at night because I supect of the post nasal dripping. Should I see a specialist or what?

Your daughter could be having a recurrent upper respiratory tract infection for which there may be focus either in the tonsils and adenoids or sinuses. You may repeat a course of antibiotics like amoxycillin or macrolides for 5 to 7 days. If the symptoms persist, pl consult an ENT specialist.
