5 Year Old. Wart On Buttock, Boil, Sore. How Does It Heal?

Hi Doctor, My 5 year old grandaughter has a wart on her buttock but looks more like a boil , my daughter in law asked her doctor awhile ago, and he said to just leave it and come back if it persisted, last night, it was quite big and so my daugther-in-law smeard a cream for warts , it burst and was quite sore, but now she says it s not sore but looks worse, she went for swimming lessons today, should she stop swimming and must she carry on with the cream and see if it will heal? every time she goes to the doctor, as it s private, it costs them quit alot of money. Thank you Doctor.

hello...

Though i don't doubt the diagnosis your doctor as he would be in a better position to assess the condition of your child than me,

Continue his treatment, If same problem again persist.

I would advise;
You should get her evaluated once for her complaint to get her examined physically a Dermatologist.

Thanks;
"I wish she will get well soon"
Regards; Dr,Sagar Mhatre
