As there is foul smelling bloody discharge from left nostril the first thing to rule out is any foreign body.As children keep rubber, cotton, small batteries and others in nostrils while playing and after some days the foulsmeeling and bloody discharge occurs. So consult your Pediatrician or ENT Specialist to look for any foregnbody in the nostril and to look out any other reason of foul smelling discharge.

thanks for your query.
symptoms suggest upper respiratory infection,he needs to be evaluated for this and will need a course of antibiotics for this, moreover foreign body inhalation also needs to be ruled out.
