40 Weeks Pregnant. Vomitting Twice. Felt Baby Movement. Does It Affect Baby?

Hi am 40+4 weeks pregnant and vomiting both this morning and this evening. Thought the vomiting stopped as had a sandwich in the late afternoon and felt fine. Now though, I have been vomiting twice since and feel really poorly. Felt baby movement a while ago alright but am concerned that this will affect the baby or is it dangerous to leave alone at this late stage in pregnancy?

Thanks for posting your query here.

At this stage of pregnancy and with symptoms of vomiting, feeling poorly, there is possibility of infection or stomach bug. It is uncommon due to Pregnancy at 40 weeks.

Please seek medical help at your emergency department or your Obstetrician regarding this.
