I advise you to cntinue the medication as prescribed by your doctor.
Wait till the temperature comes down to normal and the temperature should be normal for atleast for 24 hours.
And as she is having cough,the infection may spread to the other children if she goes in this period.
So I advise you to keep her at home till the fever comes to normal and the severity of cough decreases and by the time the course of antibiotic will be completed.
So this process may take 5 to 7 days.

I do not think there should be a hurry in sending a 4 year old to the school.

You have written "I do not want to get in trouble with the school". If a school gets a parent into trouble just because a kid of 4 years could not attend the school for a few days one should just quit the school.

Please give your kid adequate rest.

Only send her to the school once she is active, playful and eating normally.

Since your 4 year old daughter has high temperature and cough, its wont be very appropriate to send her to school in this condition. She should continue to take her medication and complete bed rest. Give her plenty of warm fluids and more liquid diet. As far as school is concerned why cant you put forward an application for medical leave from school based on the medical report given by your doctor.
