4 Year Old, Suffering From Stomach Pain. Any Ideas On Treatment?

my nearly 4 year old son has had a stomach ache for the last 2 days. Left hand side middle of belly. The pain is not acute and is not tender to touch. Last night he woke every 2 hours complaining of a sore stomach. He does not seem constipated and is drinking enough water.....we will see a our GP today.....any ideas on treatment to help in the meantime whilst waiting to see GP

Hi,

Stomach pain could be because of multiple causes. Some times there may not be a significant cause. Some times children complain of stomach pain when they are force fed or asked to do a thing that they do not want to do.

Some times stomach pain could be because of various causes like gastritis, urinary tract infection etc which require further investigations and management.
