Hi Dear

Welcome to the board of Health care Magic.

Constant low grade fever.
Cough for long time,
Body aches
Underweight ( not growing well)
Lean and thin,

Dear sir, these all points are compelling us to think about some chronic problem.

Through investigation are required to rule out disease like Primary complex (early phase of Tuberculosis).Faulty feeding , worm infestations, etc

CBC, ESR, CXR, Montoux Test.Ultrasound abdomen to see any mesentric lymphadinitis, stool examination for cyst and parasites etc.

Diet chart/advices to be prepared about her feed.

If any problem comes with investigation positive all can be treated well by any pediatrician.

Hope your query is answered.

Thanks

Welcome to HCM.
Yes,you are right, she needs pediatric consultation for confirm diagnosis and better treatment.
She has to go for certain investigations like cbc, esr, liver profile, mantoux test,x-ray chest (pa) to rule out the diagnosis.
According to condition describe by you she is also having protein energy malnutrition.
You have to start complete balance diet regularly.
Start protein, vitamin, calcium and iron supplement under guidance of her pediatrician.

Pediatrician Dr. Y V Siva Sankara Murty's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Your child requires complete examination. It could be because of various causes like tuberculosis and faulty feeding.

Please do not neglect the child and show her to the doctor at the earliest.

She may require investigations like mantoux, X ray chest etc depending on the examination findings.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
