4 Month Old Diagnosed With High Cholesterol And Acidity, Has Yellow Fluid Lesions In Body. Chances Of Cancer ?

My 4 month old grand-daughter was diagnosed with having high cholesterol and high acidity in her body which causes her to break out in lesions which has a yellowish fluid that poured out when they did a biopsy . The doctors said that because of her young age, they can t do anything until she is 2 years old and if more lesion breaks out they need to check for cancer . Could there be any other diagnosis?

Hi there, You need to specify where the lesions were? Body is too vague but by the description of yellow fluid being drained it sounds like collection of fluid more due to some infective process than cancer. Still without clear details, answering would be difficult. Be guided by your doctors but for 4 month old to have such type of cancer is very very unusual....Take care
