39 Weeks Pregnant, Vomiting Sensation, Dizziness. Suggestions?

Hello, I am 39 weeks and 1 day. This morning woke up feeling like I want to vomit.
I ate two slices of bread to feel better, then during the process of making tea, I began feeling very dizzy, and so i ran into the bedroom and fell on the bed breathing heavily. After 20 min, I started vomitting and then off to the toilet.
Afterwards I decided to sleep for about 2 hrs, now I feel better just tired.

Is this normal in your final stage of pregnancy?

Thanks you
Latifa

Dear Latifa
Welcome to HCM and thanks for posting your query here.
In the final stages of pregnancy to get such symptoms are very common but at the same time some important things has to be remembered. How about your blood pressure-is it high or low-if it is high you need to check with the gynae. It could be a symptom of eclampsia. If the bp is low please take more fluids.
How about your sugar levels-more or high?-more sugar levels also cause a vomiting sensation and dizziness. If all these things are in normal limits then you can relax. In the last 9th month visit the doc weekly once so that any abnormalities will be ruled out.
I wish you a happy motherhood and a well baby to you soon.
Regards
