Hi I am 32 y.o female and I have been having this pain on the left side of my head for about 3 mos severe at times. I have been in the ER about 3 time and to family doctor numerous times. I had a mri and a small spot was found on the posterior part of the left side of my brain but no one seems very concerned and will give me any answers. Thank you for posting your query.

The most common cause for repeated headaches in your case could be migraine.

Small white spots are common in migraine too. However, other conditions such as old blood clot, old brain injury, demyelination, infection, etc may also look similar on MRI brain.

I would request you to upload a pdf copy of the MRI report so that I can give you a better answer.

Please get back if you require any additional information.
