3 Yrs Old Suffers From Multiple Subcenteric Mesenteric Lymph Nodes, Given Mahacef, Metrogyl, Atarax. Right Treatment ?

my 3 yrs old son suffer from multiple subcenteric mesenteric lymph nodes and doctor has given him syp. mahacef 50 syp zenflox, syp metrogyl , syp atarax . i cannot understand what disease he is suffering from and doctor has given him right treatment or not please answer me and he always suffer from fever from last one year.

You have not mentioned the symptoms for which you got an ultrasound abdomen. If you can revert back with symptoms, it will be easy to comment on the disease. Multiple subcentric lymph nodes in the abdomen are a normal finding mostly. If larger in size they may indicate an infection, either bacterial or tuberculosis. Probably thats why your doctor has stared all the antibiotics. However i believe he does not require all these drugs. All he requires is thorough examination and repeat evaluation. Consult a pediatric surgeon for the same.
