28 Weeks Pregnant, Excessive Vomiting, No Bowel Movement For Days, Feeling Something Struck In Throat. Suggestions?

Hi I am about 28 weeks pregnant, and for the past 2 days I have had excessive vomiting. I was unable to have a bowl movement for a few days and it got to the point where I couldn't keep my food down, so I took a laxative yesterday. I was able to go to the restroom last night but I have a feeling in my chest/ throat as if something is stuck there. Any suggestions for the vomiting and feeling in my throat?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Laxatives are not recommended during pregnancy.
You can have food with high fiber like green leafy vegetables and fruits.
Regarding foreign body sensation at throat, You need to consult a ENT specialist foe detailed examination.
Treatment depends on the diagnosis.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
