Hello!
There are two aspects of your problem. Dandruff and hair loss. As you have correctly observed, the hair loss continues even when dandruff is controlled. This is because the two conditions are separate from each other and one is not the cause of another. The dandruff is a colonisation of scalp skin while hair loss occurs at hair root level below the skin surface.
You should control your dandruff by regular use of azole shampoo. For hair thinning, you can use medicines depending upon your diagnosis. For already thinned hair you may want to use stem cell therapy or topical therapy. Finally, lost hair can be replaced with transplantation once your hair loss has stabilised.

General & Family Physician Dr. Sourav Ganguly's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
General measures to take- improve your diet with leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, plenty of water, sprouts, pulses, high protein diet, avoid items with high sugar content like sweets & chocolates, less of Chinese foods, less of pizza & burgers, more of milk & ghee, dry fruits. Good sleep also has an important role to play.
After proper diagnosis one can start with topical preparations like Minoxidil 2%-5% applied twice daily on scalp along with tab biotin one daily other hormonal medicines are also available if needed. If baldness sets in, then one can go for hair transplantation also.

You please consult any good dermatologist, investigations to be done and drugs to be taken according to his advice.

Best wishes

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
If even after treatment of dandruff hair loss is present then you need to have regular iron supplements with a high protein diet to grow back your hairs. You can also apply raw egg on your scalp one hour before washing your hairs twice a week.
Hope I have answered your query. I will be available if you have any further queries.
Regards
