Dear Mum

I would like a few questions answered first -
i) How long has the tummy been swollen , is it since he has a little baby or only recently
ii) How is his stooling pattern, does he pass stools everyday or is he constipated
iii) Has he had any vomiting at all, if so, what color was it, has it ever been green ?

The reason for these questions is - with the finding of a large stomach, there might be a partial block to the duodenum - called stenosis or it could be another condition called malrotation. Both these can be diagnosed with a contrast swallow - an xray where a dye will be given him to swallow and an xray will show if the passage is normal. If both these conditions are ruled out, then there is nothing to worry about. Even if, it is the above conditions, there are effective treatments available. Please revert with answers to the above questions.
