2 Years Old Having Loose Pale Yellow Stools

Hi, my 2yr. old wasn t feeling well yesterday and had some diarrhea , very watery and yellow leaking through her clothes. Today it seems to be a pale yellow and just comes out. I was thinking she ate something bad. I could tell she wasn t feeling well and had a low-grade fever . She slept yesturday and had times where she would play. What do you think is the cause of this? She wanted milk which seemed not to help and I was trying to avoid it. Quite a bit today she had the same stools and liquidy pale yellow. I wanted to take her in, but my 3 1/2yr. old started puking today.

Hi,thanks for query. It seems that she may be having some viral infection which has lead to diarrhea.Give her plenty of fluids to drink, light diet like curd, rice, fruits, jello etc.Ask her to take rest. For pain and discomfort you can give anti spasmodic and anti pyretic medicines that you have with you.It should be under control in a day,if not take her to doctor.bye.
