Hello sir/madam,
I am highly concerned about your child having fever on and off. From your complaints of fever moderate to high grade, cough, cold, it comes to be mostly a viral upper respiratory tract infection. It is better to get your child examined by a pediatrician and prescribe specific drugs and if required and perform some blood tests to verify diagnoses. Also to prevent convulsion, you should continue with tepid sponging , plenty of fluids orally, give adequate diet as much as he takes, and also continue with antipyretics like paracetamol every 8 hourly, so as to prevent fever spikes. Hope that your son will get well soon . Thank you.
