2 Year Old. Having Milky White Diarrhea, Normal Smell. Should I Be Concerned About Stool Color?

Good day My twins (Aged 2) started having milky white colored diarrhea with a worse than normal smell, one of them threw up here milk this morning, no fever . They don t seem to have a good appetite and that in it self is not normal for my two. Is this some kind of virus...should we be concerned about the stool color? Thanks

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
They are having diarrhea which is mostly viral in nature and takes few days to subside.
Most important is to maintain hydration.
I suggest you to give oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stool.give lemonade, curd, boiled potato, banana, rice porridge.
Give lactobaccilus for 2 to 3 days.

In case symptoms persist get them evaluated by pediatrician for proper management.

Take care.
