2 Year Kid, Rash, Bruise On Bottom And Thighs. What Could Be This?

My 2year old daughter has recently had a rash doctors put it down to a viral rash or a reaction to something she has had to eat or drink. I have now noticed that she has unexplained bruising on her bottom and thighs, these bruises seem to go away after a couple of hours. Should I be worried about these unexplained bruises?
