2 and a half year old gets cold during sleep. Is it because of RAS ?

My daughter is 2 1/2 and when she sleeps she feels so cold to the touch its like touching the fridge. I have brought her thermal vests, thick pyjamas and put layers of blankets but it does not seem to make any difference. My daughter suffers with RAS (reflex anoxic seizures .

Thanks for writing to us.
Feeling cold on the outer skin or in the extremities is not something to worry. It is the internal core body temperature that matters.
Hypothermia does precipitate anoxic spells and it is best if you can avoid it. You can centrally heat her bedroom to help it.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
