19 Month Has Pallid Breath-holding Spells With On And Off Seizures
19 month grandson has pallid breath-holding spells. Been to emergency and several Dr. office visits .All just said not dangerous and he will outgrow. Shouldn't they at least check for anemia and do an EKG? He has seizures after he passes out and takes 10 to 15 minutes to kind of come out of it, then he immediately falls asleep for several hours.

Breath holding spells commonly occur in infants from 10 months to 3 years.
They usually recover spontaneously as they grow old.
You should offer whatever the child wants.
Otherwise he will cry and go into breath holding spell.
Lot of patience is needed to manage the child.
if you like you may take ECG or EEG ,but no abnormality will be found.
